Q. What areas do you service?

A. I cover the Quad-City area including Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley and Dewy

 

Q. What Happens to my equipment after I drop it off?

A. First, the hard drive is erased of all data, and then the equipment is evaluated for resale or salvage. Equipment that is deemed not resalable or salvageable, is stripped down to the component level and sorted for delivery to the proper component recyclers.

 

Q. What do you use to erase hard drives?

A. We use a program called "Boot and Nuke", it allows us to boot the system from a CD and wipe the drive to DoD Specs. If the system is not bootable, the drive is removed and erased using another computer.

 

Q. Can I erase the drive before I drop it off?

A. Yes, there are quite a few freeware programs that can be used to wipe a hard drive. We use one called "Boot and Nuke" and is available from HERE.

 

Q: What sort of items do you accept?

A. We accept any equipment related to Computers, including Printers, scanners, speakers, monitors... etc. We do not accept items such as TV's or stereos.
